If you qualify to take this exam, it means that you do not qualify to submit a maintenance application. The exam is available through December 31, 2011.
Why is this exam only offered to candidates who have let their maintenance lapse?
APICS has recognized that due to the state of the economy and employment conditions, it has become more crucial than ever for individuals to have current credentials. The APICS CPIM Recertification Exam is being offered as a service to help individuals with expired credentials to renew via a more streamlined process. This program is not intended to replace the certification maintenance program which will continue to uphold the importance of continuing education and maintaining skill relevancy.
Why is this available for a limited time?
The APICS CPIM Recertification Exam has a specific purpose to help individuals renew their credentials during this economic downturn. Individuals wishing to take advantage of this program will have one year to take advantage of this opportunity.
Will points be awarded toward CSCP Certification Maintenance for passing this exam?
